love that connects your apachita to all other apachitas and other sacred sites in the world.  Here are some guidelines.
  • You may want to call the Spirits of the directions to be witness and to support the intent of the ceremony.
  • Offer tobacco and or herbs and essences, such as Florida Water, to the Mother Earth spot in which the apachita will
    be created.
apachita connected to, or a stone that they have a heart felt connection to.
  • While holding the stone they have brought for the altar apachita  they may want to drum the heart beat drum beat in
order to fully come into their intent, their vision for the healing of Mother Earth and all her children to come into a
heart felt relationship and higher perception that is extraordinary.
  • Eventually, spirit will invite them to bring their stones together to place onto the altar a building of stones, into a
    pyramidal formation.
  • When all the available stones have been placed, with the intent felt prayer of each participant, the power of the
apachita, "the flow of energy" begins.
  • To add energy fuel into the intent and send the vision of peace and love to places throughout the community and
throughout the world, offerings are placed onto and between the stones; flowers, tobacco, jewels, stones and other
values pieces are offered by tucking them into the stones with prayer felt intent.
  • Concluding the apachita ceremony may involve closing the directions with thanks for their support.
  • SPECIAL NOTE: Care and feeding of the apachita is a way to heighten the energy of intent and the power of the
sacred altar.  Offerings of tobacco, herbs, flowers, stones, incense, feathers, etc. to continue to feed its energy.   It
is not unusual for those passing the apechita, be they animal or people, to disturb the apachita.  Even the change of
weather and freezing/thawing will make changes in its form.  Know that once the apacheta is established in a certain
power place it will continue to hold the sacred intent.  It does become more powerful the more it is maintained and
heightened through continued ceremony, prayers and offerings.

There are no rules, no strict instructions to doing the ceremony of the apachita.  What is important is that it is done with
creativity, and done with intuitive harmony and with inspiration from Spirit in accordance to the group's intent, the place,
the season, and all other factors.  The previous information on ceremony is meant for guidance and inspiration but realize
that you there are no rules to limit the possibilities for the engagement with the power of the apachita ceremony.

Sacred Way is in service to providing opportunities for all seekers and contributors for this great time in our evolution.
May we hold the "possibilities" rather than the probabilities in our mind to bring us all, our earth mother, all her peoples
and the place of constellations into the expansion of the highest sacred potential beyond more than we can imagine.

Sacred Way is most appreciative of your sharing your apachita ceremony and pictures to be shared on this website.
With heart of possibilities.  Your ceremony will be added to the posting by sending your information of ceremony and

LEGEND OF THE INKA SUN STAFF
There is a legend that really speaks of the power of the energy of light and live.  Long ago, Father Sun looked at the
beauty of creation of our planet Earth and shed a golden tear of love.  That fiery tear penetrated deep into our Earth
Mother and it brought life into the cold, lifeless stone people, our first people of creation.  The little stone people, the big
stone people and the gigantic stone people ( the mountains) began to feel the life and love and sent out a great vibration,
a great power.  Mother Earth shook violently and the golden tear spread to the four corners of the Earth and deep down
into the heart of our Mother Earth.  Everything the tear touched turned to gold.

With the warmth from that tear of Father Sun's love came the energy for new life and the plant people came forth, followed
by the animals, the 4 legged, came forth.  Eons later Father Sun dropped another golden tear of love and the first Inka;
"one who glows with the light of the Sun, the "Beloved Children of the Sun", were created.  From that loving tear of gold
that fell to or Mother Earth a golden staff was created and thus the first man and woman Inka knew it was given to then to
find the "Center", our navel, our center of the world consciousness.  With no direction other than to be with the golden
tear and direction with the Creator within their heart, they set out to find the sacred navel, the center of our Earth Mother
and for all her children's connection to her love and the love of our creator.  They knew within their golden heart's the
desire that would be connected to their father's light of love and the Creator's, with no direction other than pure intent
and faith.  They set out to find the sacred navel of the Earth and tried the sun staff in many places until it stood upright
when placed point down into our Mother Earth.

Today, the place that is known as Cusco, Peru, the place it is said that the Sun Staff stood upright.  Cusco is the "navel of
the world and the source of the Inka empire.  The word "Inka" means one who glows with the light of the sun.  The word
"Cusco", is also "qosqo" translated as navel, the center of each of us, our belly chakra, our very center.  Translated this
myth may mean that it is time, wherever a "sun Staff" is placed, to connect to love and the golden life potential inherent by
Father Sun and our Creator.  It is the vision that we are all "centered" into a higher consciousness of our greatest
evolution and light potential of love and possibility.

Legend says that the original sun staff was lost with the coming of the Conquistadors and the fall of the Inka empire.  What
remains now is the legend and prophecy that a new consciousness is coming forth.  It is a time in which we have the
opportunity to participate in our evolution by connecting, through our intent, our thoughts, our work, a higher vibration for
all people's and our world.

The new Sun Staff has been created in Peru, blessed by the Q'ero, last of the direct descendants of the Inka, and is part of
the prophecies of raising our consciousness and connecting, through our intent/thought with heart vibration to all places
and people who hold this common vision.  The Sun Staff has 7 rings etched into the top of the staff, representing the 7
directions.  The 7 directions include the 4 cardinal direction of south, east, west, north, Mother Earth, Father Sky and Great
Spirit which is within us and everywhere.  Over the 7 directional rings are 7 jeweled bands representing the 7 levels of
consciousness of the chakras.

The golden rays that come out from the circle that surround the sun staff is a symbol of reaching out, connecting to others
for a mass number that hold the consciousness of love and peace for all of Earth Mother, all her people, all communities
and nations.  The rays connect to the ceque and ley lines throughout the world, creating a web that transmits this
consciousness.

Ceque: Connecting line from a power "huaca" source to other power sources.
Ley: an alignment of ancient rites of holy places through vibrational lines.
