March 27, 8:30 PM EARTH HOUR People from all over the world will be switching off their lights for Earth Hour. Please join Earth hour, people across the world and Sacred Way by turning of your lights and electrical powered instruments at 8:30 p.m. until 9:30p.m. Lee/Sacred Way will be in Florida joining the "lights out" Eastern time. I will be at the Atlantic ocean beach, St. Augustine Florida, participating in Fire Ceremony and an Earth Offering Ceremony. I would love to hear whatever your plans may be to engage in this significant ceremonial time. Let me know if I can post your personal or group event on the calendar at Sacred Way. Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million homes and businesses turned their lights off for one hour to make a stand against climate change. In 2008 50 million people across 35 countries participated. In 2009 hundreds of millions of people took part in the third Earth Hour. Over 88 countries officially "switched off" in support of making the global climate change by standing up and take responsibility toward a sustainable future.

An elder Page (shaman) deep in the Brazilian Amazon said to a group of white folks...."We are all shaman, Don't you think that just because I wear those funny clothes and those then you are. We are indigenous to Mother Earth, then you are. We are indigenous to Mother Earth, no matter where we come from ." The shaman, known as spiritual healer, medicine person, paqo, curendero and other medicine names, is common in all cultures of the Earth, known by many different names, and is still called by Spirit today. The word "shaman" is from the Tungus tribe in Siberia but has become the accepted word to identify the healer called by Spirit, for the healing of all peoples and Earth Mother.
